My favorite fabric is 100% linen and I was so happy to work with a customer who loves linen as much as I do. She is comfortable with the casual washed linen look. I pre-washed the linen and did not iron it before making the slipcovers. These parsons' chair slipcovers are absolutely gorgeous!
In the far background, you can see my customers dining room chair slipcovers I made several years ago and they still look great! I used a linen/cotton blend for those chairs.

We chose to only use kick pleats in the back of the slipcovers. I like the clean look in the front.
Here is a close up of the rustic linen after being washed.
A slipcover for a desk chair done in the same 100% rustic linen fabric with a fun box pleat skirt.
The desk chair is fastened with ties around the front legs under the skirt. The ties will help secure the front of the slipcover from shifting.
While on vacation in Florida last week, I was very excited to stop by the Vintage Soul Store at 1118 New York Ave, St Cloud, Florida. I have been following her on Facebook for a couple years. The store was beautiful and the owner, Debbie Mangual was so sweet. It was 101 degrees that day and she mentioned that the best time to visit is October thru May. Below are a some pictures to give you a sampling of the pretty items she sells which include some cute slipcovered chairs. If you are ever in the area you should definitely stop by. It will be worth it and there are several other boutiques and antique shops along New York Ave.
