Florida Parsons Chair Slipcovers

These are a couple pictures my customer sent of her parsons chair slipcovers.  My customer lives in Florida and I made the slipcovers from measurements alone. She chose this beautiful bold red patterned fabric.  She used the leftover fabric to cover some lampshades in the room.

The fabric pattern is Ozborne in color lipstick from Premier Prints. 

I pre-washed the fabric using Woolite and on a gentle cycle.

This is an example of how I ask the customer for measurements.

This was the inspiration picture for the slipcover design from

 Restoration Hardware.

Mattelasse Wing Chair Slipcover

This slipcover was done in the popular matelasse fabric. I loved the way this slipcover turned out.

Linen Look Slipcovers

This beautiful set of slipcovers was my last delivery before Christmas.  My customer is in the process of moving and will be moved into her new home next month.  These slipcovers will look amazing in the new living room with dark hardwood floors.  These pictures don't do the slipcovers justice. 

 If you look close you can see that the cushions are covered in a matelasse fabric.  My customer has the option to flip all the cushions over for a different look.  The matelasse fabric is covering one side of each back and seat cushions.

 The chair was done in a seafoam blue/green fabric with contrast cording to match the sofa and loveseat.

Floral Couture Office Chair Slipcover

 I am so glad Bonnie sent me pictures of her newly decorated office.  I love the way the fabric on the office chair slipcovers pull all the colors of the room together. The fabric is Floral Couture in color Mandarin from  the Amy Butler Lark Collection.

Coffee Sack Slipcover

 Burlap slipcovers? 

 Yes! You can add a burlap coffee sack to your slipcover. Pinterest is loaded with ideas on using burlap coffee sacks. Everything was pre-washed- burlap, coffee sack and the solid cotton fabric.  There are many helpful links on-line on how to pre-wash and sew burlap and burlap coffee sacks. Here is a great blog post- www.ellaclaireinspired.com .  This slipcover will need to be dry clean only.

 

All burlap and coffee sack pieces were lined with a cotton muslin.

The customer did not want to use cording so everything was top stitched.

These are a couple of coffee sack slipcovers I found on Pinterest.  These are both made of a softer fabric than the one I used.
