Dining Room Transformation
My customer has a beautiful dining room set but she was not loving all the dark wood. She wanted to lighten the room up with linen slipcovers. She loves the look of Belgium linen from Restoration Hardware. This beautiful linen/cotton blend in a natural linen color closely resembles the Belgium linen at a lower cost. There were a total of 8 chairs, 2 arm chairs and 6 side chairs. This dining room transformation was timed perfectly just in time for Thanksgiving.

Here is a picture of the back of one of the dining room chairs. I followed the detailed shape of the beautiful carved wood.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
I have one more slipcover to deliver before Thanksgiving.

Pink Damask Office Chair Slipcover
I have been making a lot of office chair slipcovers lately. Here are some great pictures my customer just sent of the slipcover on her chair. She chose a pretty pink damask for the main fabric and a white with pink polka dots for the contrast fabric.
She wanted a long ruffled skirt to wrap around the back of the chair to hide all the unsightly mechanisms under the chair. We finished the chair off with ties down the back. This slipcover is so pretty and will brighten my clients sewing/craft room.
This slipcover was done long distance from measurements. The client sent me a picture of her chair and I used her picture to ask for the needed measurements.
Chaise Slipcover for Foxy
Here is a look at the underneath of the cushion which shows how the pet cover is constructed. The cushion is placed inside the front nose of the pet cover and then an elastic strap holds the back of the pet cover in place. Just slide the elastic over the cushion and slide the cushion out. So nice and easy for frequent washings.
Here is a closeup of how the pet cover looks on the cushion.
Foxy loves toys so I made her a bone toy to match her new slipcover.

Linen-Look with Ruffles
I love white linen and ruffles so you know I had a lot of fun making these slipcovers. My customer has great taste and it is always a pleasure working with her. She chose a 100% cotton linen-look fabric. I love the look and feel of this fabric.
You may remember these wing chair slipcovers I dubbed "King Wings" in a previous post.

They look beautiful at the ends of the dining table.
